Just a few of his happy clients include; Peter Frampton, Keith Urban, Demi Lovato and for the entire length of her career, Carrie Underwood. Not a shabby resume!

Meet John Tempesta at our SXSW Music Expo booth on Fri & Sat

TEMPESTA_JHAUDIOWe’re totally excited about SXSW this weekend and we wanted to let you in on some fun. Friday (1:30-2:30) and Saturday (2:00-3:00) we will have John Tempesta, drummer ninja for The Cult!  We’ll be over in the Expo Area at booth 208/210.

We’re thrilled to have John come by and say hi to all of you!  In a career spanning two decades, drummer John Tempesta has built a body of work that’s deservedly earned him a place among metal’s most popular and well-respected players. Perhaps best known for his tenure with Rob Zombie – both in White Zombie and with Rob’s solo project – John worked his way up through the drumming ranks, always looking for his next challenge and never resting on past achievements. John’s extensive professional resume includes gigs with Exodus, Testament, Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society, Tony Iommi, Helmet and Scum of The Earth (which features John’s brother, guitarist Mike Tempesta). Presently, John can be found touring the world behind the drum throne of The Cult.

Fozzy Releases New Album Sin and Bones

JH Audio Featured Artist Chris Jericho just released a new album titled Sin and Bones with his band Fozzy. Some have already called it their “Black Album” in reference to the standout album from Metallica.. not a bad compliment.

The album features 12 heart pounding, guitar shredding tracks sure to get ya going, including the EPIC 11:34 in length “Storm the Beaches”!

Give it a listen and don’t forget to catch Fozzy on the Uproar Festival. They are playing the Jagermeister Stage in most cities.

In the WWE Jericho is a six-time world champion, having won the Undisputed WWF Championship once, the WCW Championship twice and the World Heavyweight Championship three times. He is also a record nine-time Intercontinental Champion, and the fourth WWE Grand Slam Champion. Yeah, not to shabby.

JH Audio Artist of the Month: Karmin

KarminThe Group: Karmin

Who: Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan

The Gear: JH16Pro

The Album: Hello

Never heard of Karmin? What, you live under a rock or something? The YouTube cover group sensation-turned EPIC recording artist Karmin are our Featured Artist of the Month for June.
To properly understand the buzz around these two, let’s go back to “where it all started” with a little cover they did of Chris Brown’s “Look At Me Now” which has a measly 66 million views…. and counting! 😉

Yeah, not bad for a white-girl-born-in-small-town-NEBRASKA??!!

Nick and Amy met while students at the Berkley School of Music in Boston, MA. Both had their hand at working with some top level artists, but soon found out their real joy came from making music THEIR way and what a way it’s been! Their debut album “Hello” has garnered some major props from industry members, fellow artist and the public. They even performed on SNL and The Ellen Show this past Spring.

“A few months ago, we were sitting in our living room with a wooden box and a guitar just writing raw music, now we’re performing on Saturday Night Live and getting ready to release our debut album,” Amy marvels. Adds Nick: “I remember Amy’s dad once saying that the only CD he’d ever bought and run home from the store to listen to was by The Beatles. We want our music to have that effect on people. We want to shake things up.”
