JH Audio Artists at the 58th Grammy Awards


58th-grammysMusic’s biggest night was held at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles last night… and yes, JH Audio was there!

Well, not in person, just in-ear.

JH Audio supported many of the nominated artists, bands and backup dancers that performed at last night’s 58th Annual Grammy Awards. A special mention must go out to Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar who came into the night with an incredible 11 nominations. As well as R&B star and JH Audio artist The Weeknd, who walked onto the red carpet being nominated for 7 Grammy nominations.

Here’s a look at some of last night’s winners who sport JH Audio IEM’s:

  • Record of the Year + Best Pop Band/Duo Performance + Best Remixed Recording (non-classical)
    JH Audio artist Bruno Mars took pieces these home with him.
  • Best New Artist
    A very emotional win for Meghan Trainor.
  • Best Metal Performance
    Our artist Ghost won the talent show with “Cirice.”
  • Best R&B Performance + Best Urban Contemporary Album
    JH Audio’s The Weekend worked it and earned it.
  • Best Traditional R&B Performance
    Lalah Hathaway took it with “Little Ghetto Boy.”
  • Best R&B Song + Best R&B Album
    D’Angelo won both categories with his song “Really Love” and his album “Black Messiah.”
  • Best Rap Performance + Best Rap/Sung Collaboration + Best Rap Song + Best Rap Album
    JH Audio artist Kendrick Lamar definitely did alright with multiple wins.
  • Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album
    Pitbull ended up in a tie over this one- a win is a win!
  • Best Folk Album
    Béla Fleck & Abigail Washburn won it with their self-titled album.
